Welcome to the Jupiter Performing Arts Fund

HIT A HIGH NOTE

4bandmembersThe music programs in the Jupiter Schools have had a tradition of high expectations for over 40 years. The students have achieved the highest ratings in competition, and have performed throughout the United States and Europe. The bands also support the community with their many performances. Jupiter bands are able to provide their unique educational instruction only by supplementing the school’s budget with private funds. As our bands continue to grow in aspirations and in numbers, the need for your encouragement and financial support becomes more important than ever.

MISSION

The Jupiter Performing Arts Fund, Inc. was formed for the purpose of encouraging, promoting and supporting music within the public education system in the Jupiter, Florida area. The mission of this not-for-profit organization is to enhance the music departments and help music students move up the ladder of success by providing instruments, artists in residence, music clinicians, scholarships and provide resources for students to advance. Through sponsors, grants and our "New Life for Old Notes" program, we hope to help wherever unavailable, reduced or restricted funding prohibits students from succeeding to their full musical potential.

Music is the international language. It is a well known fact that children who play an instrument have a higher level of academic achievement, concentration and sense of confidence. School bands and orchestras build valuable social skills in teamwork and communication among peers through interest in school involvement and the study of music. Supporting school music programs helps to create better citizens for our communities and for the world. Musical education helps to give students a boost up the ladder of knowledge and success. However, because of educational budget cuts, our bands need your help.

Ninety-eight percent of our funds come from individuals, foundations and community business leaders who realize that sound financial investments should be made in education in our public schools.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We welcome contributions from corporations, foundations and individuals. Our goals are solely in the name of our children’s education. They are your future leaders as they strive for all they can be. School programs cannot do it without your support. We are encouraging you to open your hearts to help the students realize all of their musical dreams.
